Wisdom is the ability to practically make the correct choices when there are risks. It is easy to appear wise when times are good, and many people seem to (then) be prosperous, successful, and are praised. It is easy to be praised for work just completed. The question is if you can continue with that pattern when times are hard, and if your work indeed lasts. The rules of he law and of nature (which reflect the explicit law) are there to allow us to learn. Many people in history, Bible included, ruined their lives, and exist as a warning. From Pharoah to the priests of Ba'al confronting Elijah.
Proverbs 2:1-5Proverbs 2:1-5, NASB
2 My son, if you will receive my words
And treasure my commandments within you,
2 Make your ear attentive to wisdom,
Incline your heart to understanding;
3 For if you cry for discernment,
[a]Lift your voice for understanding;
4 If you seek her as silver
And search for her as for hidden treasures;
5 Then you will discern the fear of the Lord
And discover the knowledge of God.
One of the reliable indicators of wisdom, paradoxically, are the woke. They protest and rage at the good. If you are in the habits of going in the opposite direction of their advocacy, usually you will be doing good. If the media -- who are the propaganda arm of the elite, as the woke are their useful cannon fodder -- promote something, it's normally wrong.
The writer of proverbs ends with what he started with. The fear and awe of God is the beginning of wisdom. This is reflected in the awe we have for nature's beauty. Learn from that.
And do not be like this foolish elite. Their time will soon pass.
