I have been talking to son one, and recounting how on the trip to date we have managed to get off Stewart Island before a roaring gale destroyed buildings for Invercargill, and out of Milford Sound the day before the road flooded. It is true. God has been good to us.

From Radio NZ. Milford Sound Road today. Drove over it yesterday.

We should always be grateful. While we were looking at the news there has more concern about the economic consequences of NZ closing its borders to countries who have Corona-Chan.

That is not the issue. There will be a significant hit economically every time you use quarantine. But if you don’t you are not defending the nation, and putting your brothers at risk.

There is much more than money involved. And often those driven by mammon cause evil.

James 5:1-6

5 Come now, you rich, weep and howl for the miseries that are coming upon you. 2 Your riches have rotted and your garments are moth-eaten. 3 Your gold and silver have corroded, and their corrosion will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure in the last days. 4 Behold, the wages of the labourers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts. 5 You have lived on the earth in luxury and in self-indulgence. You have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter. 6 You have condemned and murdered the righteous person. He does not resist you.

You can never have two masters. You can either serve God or money. The elite have chosen… poorly. Do not be them, and do not be like them.
