After yesterday’s discussion, we need to consider the nature of the people who are supposed to be monitoring our online safety. At one end we have transgender deerkin .At the other end we have imported Muslim women who can’t stand anything that reminds them of Trump.

They want to be inclusive, tolerance, and they want to have unbelievers regulate our belief.

Considering how “Trust & Safety Teams” tend to work out, I’m waiting for some alt-tech site to create a “Paranoia & Peril Panel.”

Christ does not care. He sees these attempts to silence or regulate any truth, beauty or honour by a sense of being offended as something of the earth, to be avoided. He looks instead for that which is above.

John 3:31-36

31 He who comes from above is above all. He who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks in an earthly way. He who comes from heaven is above all. 32 He bears witness to what he has seen and heard, yet no one receives his testimony. 33 Whoever receives his testimony sets his seal to this, that God is true. 34 For he whom God has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit without measure. 35 The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. 36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him

There are many things that can distract us, and some of them will involve those we consider allies. We can get distracted by controversies or disappointments in those who lead us. But we should not. What matters is Christ. If we have believe in the son of God we have eternal life and if not we are damned.

This is the word of Christ, and the fact it offends every trust and safety council, every Iman, and every president of the Muslim Women’s association matters for nothing. Truth is truth. There is only one way to salvation, and that is through Jesus. At some point this blog will revisit Romans, and the woke will have to deal with his quite blunt words to sinners.

But Christ was blunter to the religious. His conversation here was with Nicodemus, a Pharisee and leader of the Jewish Nation. He is saying that his credentials are immaterial. What matters is his relationship to Jesus.

But at this point I need to correct myself. The world wants us to think that the ticket we take is one way, and I made too much of this yesterday. We can return to Christ. We can stray, but we can return. We can convert from reversion, we can repent of our conviction of wokeness and gender fluidity. We can return to Christ.

But there could be consequences. For the demons of this world are jealous, and hate it when a person turns to Christ. They want us not to believe in the God they know is real, nor in his son, who can save us. They would rather that we believe an increasingly bankrupt elite.

But we can choose not to be of the earth, and instead to be of Christ. If we do that, we avoid the wrath we deserve and the hell we would inevitably make for ourselves. The most sad of such are those who think they are being religious and doing what is ethical and right while they promote instead a convergence to destruction.

Do not be them. Do not be like them.
