The problem with half the analysis that is coming out of this time is that they ignore the spiritual. They are materialists, laugh at the idea of God, the Devil, Heaven and Hell, and scorn any idea of the law. They think their plans will work, and we will all be made better.

Like Mel, I do not hold with posthumanism, the new soviet men, or building Babylon in this world, so we can reach heaven and be like Gods. We don’t know enough. We are not righteous enough. We are surely not worthy of worship. Because we don’t have the mind of God, we rail and what we don’t understand.

Pain makes us foolish, but without the fear of the divine there cannot be wisdom.

Job 39:26-40:5

26 “Is it by your understanding that the hawk soars
and spreads his wings towards the south?
27 Is it at your command that the eagle mounts up
and makes his nest on high?
28 On the rock he dwells and makes his home,
on the rocky crag and stronghold.
29 From there he spies out the prey;
his eyes behold it from far away.
30 His young ones suck up blood,
and where the slain are, there is he.”

40 And the Lord said to Job:

2 “Shall a fault-finder contend with the Almighty?
He who argues with God, let him answer it.

3 Then Job answered the Lord and said:

4 “Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer you?
I lay my hand on my mouth.
5 I have spoken once, and I will not answer;
twice, but I will proceed no further.”

If we are of Christ, the fear of the law is overtaken by love. We should pray for wisdom, and know that the Spirit of God is with us. I can look at the last three to four years — moving out of town, setting up a house, putting in a garden, fixing and building things not knowing that we would need them, or that change was almost upon our nations and times.

We were being led. We were being prepared, and we did not know it.

John 14:25-26

25 “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

I do not see this season of purification as short: I do see that it is becoming very clear to all who is of Christ and who seeks instead the approval of man. Who accedes to the spirit of this age, and who says Jesus is Lord.

Be the latter. The world will hate you, but the world hates its minions as well. In this time, the people fear, for we have fools as leaders and protestations of political correctness instead of righteousness. But in Christ, even when we are in tears and pain, there can be peace.
