I read these passages to Kea and she said ‘”This is the world, right now”. She’s correct. Those who humble and plead and fast for their nation are mocked, and those who instead look at their own evil and claim virtue are praised, honoured, and supported.. The left are failing, but not in their estmiation. God is merciful, but that does not mean that our nations will stand.

What Churchians constantly forget, to my considerable irritation, is the fact that Jesus also had absolutely no problem picking up some cords and whipping moneylenders that profaned His Father’s temple. And He certainly did not have any problems with telling His followers to sell their cloaks and purses to buy swords for self-defence.

Jesus Christ was, and is, Lord and King. He was not and is not a pacifist of any kind. He made it clear that His Father hates the wicked, even as He understands full well where the wicked are headed and is heavy-hearted for them.

As King of the world, as the Son of God sent to us to act as an intermediary between us and Our Father, He stands as a lion ready to defend us against the forces of evil that assail us on a daily basis. That is the job of a King, and that is what Jesus does for us every single day.

Jesus told us to be meek and turn the other cheek to give those abusing us a chance to repent – NOT to make us weak and supine.

And the time for repentance has LONG since passed.

The end of this era will be a battle. The war continues, with powers and principalities, and the enemy plays dirty. He mocks, he destroys.

But the Lord will vengeance have.

Psalm 69:7-10

7 For it is for your sake that I have borne reproach,
that dishonour has covered my face.
8 I have become a stranger to my brothers,
an alien to my mother’s sons.
9 For zeal for your house has consumed me,
and the reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.
10 When I wept and humbled my soul with fasting,
it became my reproach.

Jeremiah 18:12-17

12 “But they say, ‘That is in vain! We will follow our own plans, and will every one act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.’

13 “Therefore thus says the Lord:
Ask among the nations,
Who has heard the like of this?
The virgin Israel
has done a very horrible thing.
14 Does the snow of Lebanon leave
the crags of Sirion?[a]
Do the mountain waters run dry,[b]
the cold flowing streams?
15 But my people have forgotten me;
they make offerings to false gods;
they made them stumble in their ways,
in the ancient roads,
and to walk into side roads,
not the highway,
16 making their land a horror,
a thing to be hissed at for ever.
Everyone who passes by it is horrified
and shakes his head.
17 Like the east wind I will scatter them
before the enemy.
I will show them my back, not my face,
in the day of their calamity.”

I live under a woke government, with false conservative opposition. Both believe in globalism, multiculturalism, and al the upper class tropes. Religion, particularly Christ, is for lesser beings. As the Lush says of the Aussie Labour Party

(Branch Stacking is buying the names of people enrolling them as paid of a Labour Party branch, claiming their proxy votes, and using it to leverage power)

Branch stacking is as Labor as going to a private school and having an Arts-Law degree.

Despite the fact that the conservative parties in the Antipodes are led by a Pentecostal (Australia) and a Catholic (New Aealand) the assumption is that society does not need to know about God. We can control things via technology: a bureaucratic class informed by scientific evidence.

Until you find you can’t run a quarantine. Then you call in the Army.

My fear is that God has taken us at our word. We have turned out back on God, so God has turned his back on us. And that makes me pray. Fervently. For Sanity.

Knowing that comes at the cost of repentance.

Are you wondering if NZ is suffering the fate that Missler predicted for the US? God’s abandonment wrath?

If I am reading Missler correctly, we are as guilty as the USA or more so. Our politicians are as bad or worse, the Church is mocked, and Christians generally despised. But the assumptions the elite make is that socieyt will just truck on despite their destructive reforms.

In short, yes.
