I look at the news most days and I don’t feel at all like a happy bunny. Perhaps I should be silent: some want me to be so. Perhaps I should not read the newspaper headlines or consider the situation in my nation. For there is a purge, right now, of the dirty tricks brigade in one party — and one thinks they got that information from somewhere. We are losing our industrial factories, one by one.

This does not make me cheerful: I’m worried enough at this time. But this I have to say: We were warned. New Zealand has had the gospel preached with fire and brimstone. We have been sent evangelists. Australia is in the same situation. So when we turn from God, there are consequences, which the current idols of ideology cannot explain.

Isaiah 48:1-5

48 Hear this, O house of Jacob,
who are called by the name of Israel,
and who came from the waters of Judah,
who swear by the name of the Lord
and confess the God of Israel,
but not in truth or right.
2 For they call themselves after the holy city,
and stay themselves on the God of Israel;
the Lord of hosts is his name.
3 “The former things I declared of old;
they went out from my mouth, and I announced them;
then suddenly I did them, and they came to pass.
4 Because I know that you are obstinate,
and your neck is an iron sinew
and your forehead brass,
5 I declared them to you from of old,
before they came to pass I announced them to you,
lest you should say, ‘My idol did them,
my carved image and my metal image commanded them.’

Those of us who consider themselves of Christ, members of the Church in good standing, who deem themselves as blessed, who have heard sermons from our youth need to pay attention. Christ knows his own, and he will have some in those who you consider pagan. This is why you should be gentle with others: not because they have sinned (they have) but because you have sinned. We are here to bring God glory.

Which means we all have to repent.

Romans 2:12-16

12 For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law. 13 For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. 14 For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them 16 on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus.

You don’t need to worry that much about the other side. The standards you judge will be used against yourself, and you will be found wanting. This is inevitable: this world is fallen. The believer then turns not to tradition or church politics, but to Christ. They look at that standard, and know they have not met it. Our leaders… not so much.

In ideological societies, truth is a very dangerous thing, not because it gives the doubters ammunition. Truth is dangerous because it undermines the zeal of the believers. That’s the real motivation behind this race war unleashed by the ruling class. They needed to inspire the faithful.

This need to constantly tend their own garden is why the rulers are now banning harmless people like Stefan Molyneux from the internet. Whatever you may think of his performances, Molyneux is pretty much just a garden variety AnCap. He sprinkles in some crime data and facts about race on occasion, but he has not done much of that in a long time now. Instead, he has retooled himself into a street corner Socrates, but he was banned from social media anyway.

People on this side are tempted to think his banning is due to his occasional flirtations with race realism, but if that were so he would have been zapped years ago. In reality, the people in charge are running low on people willing to go onto their stages and play the villain for them. Twitter is all house broken conservatives and Progressive cranks, with the latter outnumbering the former 100-to-1. After years of human sacrifice, the stock of sinners is running low, so they are creating them.

Therein lies a significant difference between what we are witnessing today and what went on in communist countries. At some point after the war, communist propaganda shifted from promoting the glorious future that was at hand to promoting the glories of the here and now. That is, the point of communist propaganda was to endlessly remind the people in the party that there was no need for change, just constant vigilance against the remaining reactionaries.

That does not appear to be in the cards for liberal democracy. It is a constant revolt against the present, even when the present is the creation of the people doing the revolting, as we see today. That’s why the propaganda gets more intense and more absurd with each click of the ratchet. It’s as if the faster they chase after the glorious future, the further it recedes into the distance, so the only solution is to run faster and that means more sacrifices and more witch hunting.

Z man

As I started with: the liberal democracy project will be judges by its fruit. The deaths of millions in the womb. The degeneration of the young. The implosion of the family, and the explosion of cat ladies. It is unsustainable. It is a luxury — which in a depression, we cannot afford. Expect the social welfare system to implode just as a plurality of the population realize that they have no income, nor prospects, nor assets.

And pray for revival. That the mercy of God descends again on the Church, and we shall be a witness to God’s glory drawing all people in all nations to him. Pray that God is still merciful. For all leaders will have to give account, and all will be found wanting but for the blood of Christ.
