Stacey McCain is on a rant about a woman who decided to reverse (back up) her car in a fast food drive through. I’d annoy him, because I do use McDonalds when not in lockdown (two angus beef patties and some chicken mcnuggets is a good emergency meal) but I go into the store and talk to a person because the computer does not do weird orders and that’s how I roll. Go read the whole thing, but consider that our actions have consequences.

I’ll leave that to the sociologists to figure out. My point is that people who cause problems seldom never seem to realize that they are the cause of the problem. They are blind to their own responsibility, instead claiming victimhood while blaming others for the problem.

Believe it or not, there have been times in my own life when I have caused problems for others. And I felt ashamed of myself. When someone else is inconvenienced because of my carelessness, it causes me to experience feelings of remorse. I am a normal human being. I have a conscience, and therefore am capable of feeling shame. But this was not the case with the lady at the McDonald’s drive-thru. She evidently had no shame at all about the inconvenience she was inflicting on everyone else. No, her order was wrong, and therefore she was entitled to break the rules, and it didn’t matter who else had to suffer on her behalf. Meanwhile . . .

This is not going to end well if we continue down this path. If we are able to look at what is happening and say something along the line of “this is stupid, and we should not do this”. People dying via police shootings is not good, but burning down businesses because of it is disproportionate, and is likely to end up with more (much more) shooting.

You can piss off God. This is highly unwise. Because then he will not relent.

Jeremiah 15:1-9

15 Then the Lord said to me, “Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my heart would not turn toward this people. Send them out of my sight, and let them go! 2 And when they ask you, ‘Where shall we go?’ you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord:

“‘Those who are for pestilence, to pestilence,
and those who are for the sword, to the sword;
those who are for famine, to famine,
and those who are for captivity, to captivity.’

3 I will appoint over them four kinds of destroyers, declares the Lord: the sword to kill, the dogs to tear, and the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth to devour and destroy. 4 And I will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth because of what Manasseh the son of Hezekiah, king of Judah, did in Jerusalem.

5 “Who will have pity on you, O Jerusalem,
or who will grieve for you?
Who will turn aside
to ask about your welfare?
6 You have rejected me, declares the Lord;
you keep going backward,
so I have stretched out my hand against you and destroyed you—
I am weary of relenting.
7 I have winnowed them with a winnowing fork
in the gates of the land;
I have bereaved them; I have destroyed my people;
they did not turn from their ways.
8 I have made their widows more in number
than the sand of the seas;
I have brought against the mothers of young men
a destroyer at noonday;
I have made anguish and terror
fall upon them suddenly.
9 She who bore seven has grown feeble;
she has fainted away;
her sun went down while it was yet day;
she has been shamed and disgraced.
And the rest of them I will give to the sword
before their enemies,
declares the Lord.”

The trouble is that as time goes on, and the spirit of this age seems to win, the mask slips off. The evil becomes more apparent, to those who are of Christ. But the rest will continue to be eased by distractions and the business of a life that pleases man, not God.

2 Thessalonians 2:7-12

7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

This is one of the mentions of the Antichrist, and the question hast to be what is trestrianing him. The answer is God. It is not any earthly powers. There is huge pressure for everything to work for the man of lawlessness, Nerds and toxic fans included. Warning: this is about comics, and I don’t generally like comics.

The very name indicates that DC’s parent company acknowledges the existence of the fans and is not interested in shitting all over us – for now.

It’s important to add that qualification. These big converged corporations will always end up going the wrong way eventually. That’s just what they do. Most of them have absolutely no clue how to stop the true toxic fans from getting in the door – the social justice asshats who always end up ruining things in the end.

The way to deal with those people is very simple. You FIRE them. Instantly. Without hesitation. Without remorse, regret, or mercy.

We must all be sheep. We must all baa — we must be less than human. But we are not so. We were redeemed by God. Our nations and the partlies of our yourh can and will fall. The hatred the elite have for the people will become more apparent.

But we will bear witness to Christ, for in criis there are two options: God’s mercy and revival or the loss of this good land to another. Our rulers plan on the latter. Let is pray for revival: we can always let God choose a new elite.
