It is not just the Bible that has lives recorded that should be saken as warnings. Do not go down that path: there is pain. The story of Mr Riehoehl is so unbelievable — he boasted about the killing to the leftist press — that there is no other use. He killed: he is now dead, and Antifa has another criminal martyr. But then, we should not be part of such an organization
Mr Reinoehl, the murderer of the poor Patriot in Portland in the last days, has assumed room temperature after a sudden meeting with 30 or 40 bullets, courtesy of the US Marshals.
The shooting will also, hopefully, put the scarce neurons of those activists lucky enough to be in possession of them in movement. They will, if there is some sense left in them, realise that there is no way they can play revolutionary hero and get away with it. It will be one hour of glory and blm or antifa bastards cheering you, followed by an accelerated course in being hunted, very possibly with a lethal outcome. The obvious desire for violence, in and out of the riots, of these people – all three men killed or wounded in Kenosha were felons – will, if they still have some brains left, find other channels than the shooting of innocent Patriots.
I suggest that they knock their head to the wall until they bleed, and repeat the exercise every day until they calm down.
There will always be enemies, and there will alwways be a question of why justice is delayed. The short answer is merfy. It is only through God that we can remain established in the faith, and we are not saved by what we have done, but by the love of God.
Almighty and merciful God,
of whose only gift it cometh
that thy faithful people do unto thee true and laudable service;
Grant, we beseech thee,
that we may so faithfully serve thee in this life,
that we fail not finally to attain thy heavenly promises;
through the merits of Jesus Christ our Lord.
This love is not the false kindness that our leaders talk about, where the truth is not said. it is the ability to speak the truth, so that people will change. God does not want anyone, even Mr Reinoehl, do die in their sins. He wants us instead to turn to him.
7 “Now as for you, son of man, I have appointed you a watchman for the house of Israel; so you will hear a message from My mouth and give them warning from Me. 8 When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require from your hand. 9 But if you on your part warn a wicked man to turn from his way and he does not turn from his way, he will die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your life.
10 “Now as for you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus you have spoken, saying, “Surely our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we are rotting away in them; how then can we survive?”’ 11 Say to them, ‘As I live!’ declares the Lord God, ‘I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?’
For it is the love of God that drives the other loves. If we are called by God and love him, we will show it by keeping the c0ommandments, including that to love our neighbour. If we do that aas Paul says, the otehr commandments flow.
8 Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. 9 For this, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
11 Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed. 12 The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. 13 Let us behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.
The alternative is to be run by hate and self righteousness — which means we can hate without empathy, for our enemies are not seen as deserving any care. To not see that God wants us all to turn to him, because you refuse to see God.
Such people deserve prayers. But they are not to be emulated. They are warnings. We are not to be like them.
