One of the things that we need to note at this time is that the word sacred has been shat upon. That troll Pelosi and her moronic ilk are calling Congress sacred. I’m not sure to what it is sacred. I’m Antipodean, and we consider Parliament a Bear pit on a good day and a sewer on an ordinary one. Which brings me to an aphorism I’ve always lived by: Be as far away from the capital as possible. Nothing good happens in the corridtos of power: instead power corrupts. We are seeing that end game now.
The obvious play now is the total cancellation of unwanted opinions from the public square. The way Parler is being openly targeted, and the banning of Steve Bannon from Youtube, is an all too obvious indication of where this is going. “We won, we rule, and we will not tolerate dissent” is the clear message that has gone out. This is, of course, done with the ways of the XXI Century (“danger of violence”, “violation of our terms of service” etc.), but the intent and the substance are exactly the same. There are several reasons why the Oligarchs do this. At a superficial level, it is the desire to virtue signal, which looks good on multibillionaires. It also ensures smooth operations when their companies are full of deranged liberals. At a deeper level, it is a bold (but not unexpected) offensive move in the presence of a now real threat of deeper regulation, or utter break up. The threat is to Democrats as well as Republicans. “Don’t you dare touch us” is the message.Mundabor
So lets assume that the elite and the press don’t know what is going on, and have not any sense of the sacred, the holy. For the thing about such is that it is particular, separate, and for people in certain positions. The oil and perfume were for the taberancle and the priests of the tabernacle alone. They were not for common use. Other perfumes were for common use.
The holy was separate, and it has always been separate. Indeed, Christ is a separation: those who seek the good, the true, and the beautiful align with him and the rest call evil sacred.
22 The Lord said to Moses, 23 “Take the finest spices: of liquid myrrh 500 shekels, and of sweet-smelling cinnamon half as much, that is, 250, and 250 of aromatic cane, 24 and 500 of cassia, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, and a hin of olive oil. 25 And you shall make of these a sacred anointing oil blended as by the perfumer; it shall be a holy anointing oil. 26 With it you shall anoint the tent of meeting and the ark of the testimony, 27 and the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand and its utensils, and the altar of incense, 28 and the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils and the basin and its stand. 29 You shall consecrate them, that they may be most holy. Whatever touches them will become holy. 30 You shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may serve me as priests. 31 And you shall say to the people of Israel, ‘This shall be my holy anointing oil throughout your generations. 32 It shall not be poured on the body of an ordinary person, and you shall make no other like it in composition. It is holy, and it shall be holy to you. 33 Whoever compounds any like it or whoever puts any of it on an outsider shall be cut off from his people.’” 34 The Lord said to Moses, “Take sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum, sweet spices with pure frankincense (of each shall there be an equal part), 35 and make an incense blended as by the perfumer, seasoned with salt, pure and holy. 36 You shall beat some of it very small, and put part of it before the testimony in the tent of meeting where I shall meet with you. It shall be most holy for you. 37 And the incense that you shall make according to its composition, you shall not make for yourselves. It shall be for you holy to the Lord. 38 Whoever makes any like it to use as perfume shall be cut off from his people.”
Last night we talked long. Kea is afraid, for speaking the truth will get you into trouble. I’ve already had the police turn up because of Facebook posts == and that was a couple of years ago, and I’ve now been off facebook for about three years. But in this there is also an oppurtunity, for we can subvert the courts and those who give offense by the power of the Spirit and preach.
It helps if you count all your qualifications — and Paul had them — as rubbish.
2 And when they heard that he was addressing them in the Hebrew language, they became even more quiet. And he said: 3 “I am a Jew, born in Tarsus in Cilicia, but brought up in this city, educated at the feet of Gamaliel according to the strict manner of the law of our fathers, being zealous for God as all of you are this day. 4 I persecuted this Way to the death, binding and delivering to prison both men and women, 5 as the high priest and the whole council of elders can bear me witness. From them I received letters to the brothers, and I journeyed towards Damascus to take those also who were there and bring them in bonds to Jerusalem to be punished. 6 “As I was on my way and drew near to Damascus, about noon a great light from heaven suddenly shone around me. 7 And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’ 8 And I answered, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ And he said to me, ‘I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting.’ 9 Now those who were with me saw the light but did not understand[b] the voice of the one who was speaking to me. 10 And I said, ‘What shall I do, Lord?’ And the Lord said to me, ‘Rise, and go into Damascus, and there you will be told all that is appointed for you to do.’ 11 And since I could not see because of the brightness of that light, I was led by the hand by those who were with me, and came into Damascus. 12 “And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, well spoken of by all the Jews who lived there, 13 came to me, and standing by me said to me, ‘Brother Saul, receive your sight.’ And at that very hour I received my sight and saw him. 14 And he said, ‘The God of our fathers appointed you to know his will, to see the Righteous One and to hear a voice from his mouth; 15 for you will be a witness for him to everyone of what you have seen and heard. 16 And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.’
What Paul shows us is that if there are any with a sense of hope, any dissendence from the current approved rituals of evil, then there will be a restoration. For the good will be disgusted with the evil, and turn to repenance. Those who have got along with evil will reform. Because living hat way does not work.
Good can only come from those affiliated with Good, aiming at Good. So long as there are Good people, a Good ‘side’; then they can indeed benefit from the quarrels of evil (as did Frodo and Sam); but without the reality of a side of Good, then there can only be an increase of evil. In this instance, if/ when The System eliminates all perceptible Good from the world; and tears itself apart by the increase of selfish, short-termist Sorathic evil – then the world will be a more evil place as a consequence. The lesson I draw is that the unified opposition of Good by evil (here and now) makes discernment of these two opposed sides very simple; and then there is this choice to be made between the sides (with no neutral ground): to which shall I, personally, affiliate? So long as evil is united, the situation is not lost; because Good remains a genuine threat – we may not perceive our strength, but the powers that control evil do perceive a very significant obstacle to their plans: a very significant threat to their chance of victory.
And so long as the side of Good is visible and as evil reveals itself more and more clearly by its ever increased lying, and other evil acts; there is an increasing possibility that those currently on the side of good will awaken and repent and switch sides (bearing in mind that the door to repentance is always opened to those who choose to knock)…
This is also a great fear on the side of evil. The longer the current situation continues and exacerbates, the more likely it is that the unity of evil will be broken; and the side of Good strengthened.Bruce Charlton
Take courage, for our enemies are frightened and raging. That makes them tactically inept.
And recall that we are not to worry about what to say in the time of accusation. Christ will give us the words.
And this elite? Even the old school doomers have seen through tnem.
