22 Jan 21

There are days when you think that nothing is happening, and what you pray for is not coming. Unlike some, I don’t want to see a revolution, [ost humanism, or some kind of way that makes us less human. I want to see instead of justice revival, repentance and mercy. I don’t want to see society turned into a series of meetings where you cannot say or speak, because of the panopticon. we now live in.

And, given the joke “I was scared Zuckerberg would hear what I was whispering. My friend laughed. Alexa Laughed. Siri Laughed” many of us carry these things around with us, which is a very foolish thing do do.

It is not as if there have not been people watching the righteous and betting on when they will fall throughout history. The truth has never been popular.

But to not say it… hurts.

O Lord, you have deceived me,
    and I was deceived;
you are stronger than I,
and you have prevailed.
I have become a laughing-stock all the day;
everyone mocks me.
8 For whenever I speak, I cry out,
I shout, “Violence and destruction!”
For the word of the Lord has become for me
a reproach and derision all day long.
9 If I say, “I will not mention him,
or speak any more in his name”,
there is in my heart as it were a burning fire
shut up in my bones,
and I am weary with holding it in,
and I cannot.
10 For I hear many whispering.
Terror is on every side!
“Denounce him! Let us denounce him!”
say all my close friends,
watching for my fall.
“Perhaps he will be deceived;
then we can overcome him
and take our revenge on him.”
11 But the Lord is with me as a dread warrior;
therefore my persecutors will stumble;
they will not overcome me.
They will be greatly shamed,
for they will not succeed.
Their eternal dishonour
will never be forgotten.
12 O Lord of hosts, who tests the righteous,
who sees the heart and the mind,
let me see your vengeance upon them,
for to you have I committed my cause.
13 Sing to the Lord;
praise the Lord!
For he has delivered the life of the needy
from the hand of evildoers.

Jeremiah 20:7-13

3 This is now the second letter that I am writing to you, beloved. In both of them I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, 2 that you should remember the predictions of the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Saviour through your apostles, 3 knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. 4 They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, 6 and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. 7 But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgement and destruction of the ungodly.

2 Peter 3:1-7

There are many out there who are smug. Who are sure that they are correct, and mock those of us who struggle for righteousness. Adam (who is on a tear right now) notes that we do not look at what is being proclaimed but instead trust that God is in control. That i s faith. That his hope.

And those who say that there is no God, and are concerned for us as they see evil trumphant, or that we have made predictions that did not come yet miss the point.

Justice is now delayed.

This is not because justice will not happen. it will, and it will be terrible. This dispensation is one of mercy.

Because Christ wants to lose no man. he wants us to repent. And he wants revival.

Let us stop following the fashionable lies, and seek God, and him alone.

Adam is down. I haven’t checked Gab for an update yet although I did follow him on there a couple days ago. I don’t use social media generally, but have signed up for accounts with Gab, Signal, and Parler just to help boost their numbers. (I know, Signal isn’t technically social media but I think the principle applies)
