This is the end of the progressive experiment. It may have started as fun, with a move to realism and truth, but by the time Joyce had finished his work he was incoherent, and I say that as soeone who worked his way through Ulysses as a kid on a dare. We are no longer in a world of truth but of power and this is called good, because postmoderns do not consider there is such a thing as truth or beauty, but instead power, revenge and envy.

And this means most are foolish, Many are wrecking their lives, and the vanguard of this have either died, repented, r are damned. Here God often uses pain to get us to hear him. What we want he gives us, and the consequences, good and hard.

It has been gratifying for me to read so many comments and emails from readers who have returned to God in these tumultuous times. In that sense, we are fortunate indeed to be alive in this moment so that our souls may benefit from a return to faith. Not only that, but the internet as a resource enables us to both discover true information and find like minded men so that although we may be physically alone, we are not so spiritually.

I do not argue with those who comment or email expressing negativity or disdain for my faith. To do so would be hypocritical as I myself was in that same position only a couple of years ago. And I know that anyone who argued with me back then or who would have tried to ‘make me see the light’ would have only caused me to further strengthen my outer atheist defenses.

I did not return to God because of political and social upheavals, but rather due to personal circumstance following the collapse of my former secular marriage. I will not lie; not a day goes by where I do not think of my ex-wife. But if I examine myself in a spiritual and moral sense then I find that I am light years away from where I was only a year ago. As it was my decision to return to God, and provoked by sheer desperation, I did not make any demands that He prove His own existence to me.

Adam Piggott

I don’t care that Adam returned to the Catholic church, because there are those who still preach Christ there. I’am not here to argue about the theological niceties. There are those who would have a religious secret police as noxious as the social justice trolls that infest our society and ruin our firs, libraries, parks and neighborhoods.

I praise God for every soul returned to him, and I’m challenged that I don’t pray more for salvation and redemption of those I know. Here the concrete is far more important thatn the abstract.

And here litmus tests can be foolishness. We need to pray for salvation of our enemies, not damn those who are seeking wisdom. For I know I have errors.Fear the fool who thingks his model of God is perfect and worthy of worship.

Psalm 46

To the choirmaster. Of the Sons of Korah. According to Alamoth. A Song.
46 God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah
4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy habitation of the Most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns.
6 The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
he utters his voice, the earth melts.
7 The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
8 Come, behold the works of the Lord,
how he has brought desolations on the earth.
9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
he breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the chariots with fire.
10 “Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”
11 The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

Proverbs 8:1-21

8 Does not wisdom call?
Does not understanding raise her voice?
2 On the heights beside the way,
at the crossroads she takes her stand;
3 beside the gates in front of the town,
at the entrance of the portals she cries aloud:
4 “To you, O men, I call,
and my cry is to the children of man.
5 O simple ones, learn prudence;
O fools, learn sense.
6 Hear, for I will speak noble things,
and from my lips will come what is right,
7 for my mouth will utter truth;
wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
8 All the words of my mouth are righteous;
there is nothing twisted or crooked in them.
9 They are all straight to him who understands,
and right to those who find knowledge.
10 Take my instruction instead of silver,
and knowledge rather than choice gold,
11 for wisdom is better than jewels,
and all that you may desire cannot compare with her.
12 “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence,
and I find knowledge and discretion.
13 The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil.
Pride and arrogance and the way of evil
and perverted speech I hate.
14 I have counsel and sound wisdom;
I have insight; I have strength.
15 By me kings reign,
and rulers decree what is just;
16 by me princes rule,
and nobles, all who govern justly.
17 I love those who love me,
and those who seek me diligently find me.
18 Riches and honour are with me,
enduring wealth and righteousness.
19 My fruit is better than gold, even fine gold,
and my yield than choice silver.
20 I walk in the way of righteousness,
in the paths of justice,
21 granting an inheritance to those who love me,
and filling their treasuries.

We are not seeing wisdom from our elite. Those who claim they won an election fair and triangled. We are seeing fear, witch hunts, revenge. Act accordingly.

  • Pray. I have a litrugical set of prayers here: there are mnay on line. But have a printed copy and memorize in particular scriptures.
  • Cut down the debt. RUn a tight budget. Sell what you dont need. Get the mortgage down or gonr — downsize, move, whatever
  • PUt on a good shirt and dress well and go to work and work well. Not for the system, nor in the hope uou will get promoted ahead of the woke, but to glorify God
  • Make the psychological, spiritual, and physical diet of your life meat, nor soy
  • M/ul>

    This is common sense. This is known. The exercise has been worked out for the studemt. The problem is that living htis way is seen by the effete as subversive, for you are no longer under their thumb.

    They want you either so in debt ou are a wage slave or damned with them, or both.

    But we were called insteaad for Christ. He is our fortress ans security. This is a crisis, and those in power know it. They fear.

    So fear not them, but instead God.

Insecurity and fear . . . that’s the enemy. Well said.
