You are here right now for a purpose. (15 Jan 21)

There is a curse given in many countries. It is that you will live in historic times. For when the historians write of revolutions and great men, the populace suffers. We want to live in a time that we think was quiet progress, forgetting that at the time it was stormy. This is not a quiet time, and we are facing a crisis that could lead in the death of the Church in the West and the West with it. Against that the based must fight, and will fight.

For we were born for this time and this struggle.

“I wish it need not have happened in my time,” said Frodo.
“So do I,” said Gandalf, “and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”

Hypocrisy is not seen as a weakness by those who are evil. They will lie for sport, and they will not see any difference in their behaviour. They cannot self reflect, and if they are driven by the rage which can be called sotharic they just want to burn everything down, and the institutions that they worked in and they call sacred and gave them power can burn too. There is no rationality.

They have sacrificed their humanity to a strange God. We were not made for this.

When I’m feeling particularly misanthropic God reminds me, bluntly, that all people were known by him before they were made in their mother’s womb, though the debased hate the idea that pregnancy is God given and good.

To repeat again: you are not a mistake. None of us are. We were born to be the witness for Christ in this time, and the based army of reformation.

13 For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 If I would count them, they are more than the sand.
I awake, and I am still with you.

Psalm 139:13-18

16 Then the Lord raised up judges, who saved them out of the hand of those who plundered them. 17 Yet they did not listen to their judges, for they whored after other gods and bowed down to them. They soon turned aside from the way in which their fathers had walked, who had obeyed the commandments of the Lord, and they did not do so. 18 Whenever the Lord raised up judges for them, the Lord was with the judge, and he saved them from the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge. For the Lord was moved to pity by their groaning because of those who afflicted and oppressed them. 19 But whenever the judge died, they turned back and were more corrupt than their fathers, going after other gods, serving them and bowing down to them. They did not drop any of their practices or their stubborn ways. 20 So the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he said, “Because this people has transgressed my covenant that I commanded their fathers and have not obeyed my voice, 21 I will no longer drive out before them any of the nations that Joshua left when he died, 22 in order to test Israel by them, whether they will take care to walk in the way of the Lord as their fathers did, or not.” 23 So the Lord left those nations, not driving them out quickly, and he did not give them into the hand of Joshua.

Judges 2:16-23

We are told to pray for those who are our enemies. We are not commanded to agree with them, particularly when they metastasize (we have Californians even in Southern New Zealand). The patterns are obvious: shirt sleeves to shirt sleeves in three generations. That your great grandchildren won”t know you.

But we are not called to a time of peace, but of trial. The slow march through the feckless institutions has done two things; all authority is now woke and debased. it is relentlessly correct, and demand we do likewise. But it is without any authority.

For God has left such, and instead bought foreigners in to rule us. This is not sign of blessing but punishment.

May this not continue. One of the good things about COVID 19 is that the borders are closed, and so the locals are digging the ditches and cleaning. At reasonable wages, by the way.

Let us have courage. There are victories happening even as the woke rage.. In the end, they are damned, debased, and infertile, and they fear, for they know the future is for those who turn up, and rejoice with God in their creation.
