I have said for years that we ar ein a crisis and that the progressive movement will fail. Objectively. It’s failing right now. They can’t evenbuild houses here, and they want to centralized health. We are facing micro regulation of our speech and our chuurches and th ereintroduction of ralcial quotas and apartheid. But John wilder summarizes this, and reminds us the [left want to use this crisis](https://wilderwealthywise.com/the-left-has-plenty-of-plans-for-this-crisis() to bering in the dictoatorship of the proleteriat. Go read it: it’s a good summary of Strauss and Howe’s Fourth Truning. With better puns than here.
But in this time, one will suffer. TO a lesser or greater extent. If you pepare,then you may still find everything is taken because of your race and/or faith. Micah tells us he will bear this because he has sinned before God, and he deserves to be punihsed.
But woe to the conquerer, who despise the word of God and the people he has chosen. Mark notes that the plan from the beginning was that the Remnant of Jews will follow Christ and this will lead to the convesion of the Gentiles.
But in this time of apostasy, our national leades could face the fate of the Jewish Sanahedrin: to be paradeedub a triumph to their appointment wiht hte executioner. There is a reason the Jews chose death over capture when Titus razed Jerusalem to the ground.
8 Rejoice not over me, O my enemy;
when I fall, I shall rise;
when I sit in darkness,
the Lord will be a light to me.
9 I will bear the indignation of the Lord
because I have sinned against him,
until he pleads my cause
and executes judgement for me.
He will bring me out to the light;
I shall look upon his vindication.
10 Then my enemy will see,
and shame will cover her who said to me,
“Where is the Lord your God?”
My eyes will look upon her;
now she will be trampled down
like the mire of the streets.
11 A day for the building of your walls!
In that day the boundary shall be far extended.
12 In that day they will come to you,
from Assyria and the cities of Egypt,
and from Egypt to the River,
from sea to sea and from mountain to mountain.
13 But the earth will be desolate
because of its inhabitants,
for the fruit of their deeds.
14 Shepherd your people with your staff,
the flock of your inheritance,
who dwell alone in a forest
in the midst of a garden land;
let them graze in Bashan and Gilead
as in the days of old.
15 As in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt,
I will show them marvellous things.
16 The nations shall see and be ashamed of all their might;
they shall lay their hands on their mouths;
their ears shall be deaf;
17 they shall lick the dust like a serpent,
like the crawling things of the earth;
they shall come trembling out of their strongholds;
they shall turn in dread to the Lord our God,
and they shall be in fear of you.
18 Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity
and passing over transgression
for the remnant of his inheritance?
He does not retain his anger for ever,
because he delights in steadfast love.
19 He will again have compassion on us;
he will tread our iniquities underfoot.
You will cast all our sins
into the depths of the sea.
20 You will show faithfulness to Jacob
and steadfast love to Abraham,
as you have sworn to our fathers
from the days of old.
26 And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. 27 And Jesus said to them, “You will all fall away, for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’ 28 But after I am raised up, I will go before you to Galilee.” 29 Peter said to him, “Even though they all fall away, I will not.” 30 And Jesus said to him, “Truly, I tell you, this very night, before the cock crows twice, you will deny me three times.” 31 But he said emphatically, “If I must die with you, I will not deny you.” And they all said the same.
We dp mpt jeed tp ne that astute to see the things to come if we continue on this path. . Peter Grant has more eperienee of conflict that any of us would want to have in one life, comments that there will opposition. The lovers of liberty have fled southern africa and europe and asia for the United States, where one could worship freely, and that is now at risk.
Many observers (including myself) know whereof we speak, because we have the prior experience that makes it possible for us to judge what we’re seeing around us, identify the patterns in society, and know what’s coming.
I’ve tried on many occasions to warn you, dear readers, that we’re in for a torrid time of it. The Republic founded by our forefathers is almost on its last legs. We can do nothing, and watch it expire, and live with the consequences . . . or we can resist current trends, and try to get back to the solid foundations our forefathers laid for us. They’re still there, and they’re still solid. They have not decayed. Instead, we have allowed our nation to be almost completely levered off those foundations, so that they no longer support it.
If it comes to civil war, as Mr. Yon warns, it’ll be our job to lever the republic back onto those foundations. It’s likely to be a long, costly, and probably bloody process – but it has to be done, because unless we do so, the republic will finally and terminally collapse.
What we have to understand is that we are seeing the whildwind. We sowed the wind by rejecting the laws and word of God. We allowed immorality, idssipation, debasement,: we legalized abortion and euthanasia, and now we wonde rwhy our society is atomized and hateful. The progresssive had nailed their evil rainbow to the flag and will go down devending debasement and diversity. (More of evil than race, but diversity). They will hate the righteous.
And the Godly are caught up in this crisis.
I pray that this will bring revival. Because there is an accusing generation for this time. It is the generation of Lot. If God did not spare Somdom, he should not spare us.
So, above all, do not say that what is happeing ins unfair. Do not scream for justice. You are getting the full measure of that. Play instead, for mercy, and that love will flow dlike a riviver.
For our onwly healing is forgiveness and charity (I mean love: both words do not capture the greek) adn that will only come from Christ.
