Let’s accept that we have an evil and stupid convernment. Locally, we have: their missteps are epic, and those who think politics is the main measure of everything and is a scientiific, rational thing are pulling their hair out. For that is the delusion of the progressive politicians and they are the people who are going mad.

Let us alos accept that times are getting tough. This has hit me, painfully and clearly, this week as the government here decided to use its majority (they hae 65 MPs in an 120 seat Parliament) to ram through wage freezes and the following day re uninionize private businesses.

I lived through that the first time. It ended in near bankrupcty, and any state owned assets that we could sell were — the family silver, such as NZ railways, NZ forests and the power grid is now gone. If we go down the same path of controls, stangation, inflation and unionism that Muldoon enouraged when I was at University, thi time we don’t have any of these asstes left to sell. We won’t even be able to pay the interest on our debt.

But I cannot do a thing about that, or the promotion of a narrative of fear when all need to “worship” as the PM stands (on what she has called the podium of truth). She is lying.

And in that way lies death.

I can turn from this, and seek Christ, and keep the commands of him. In that way lies life.

Deuteronomy 32:44-47

44 Moses came and recited all the words of this song in the hearing of the people, he and Joshua the son of Nun. 45 And when Moses had finished speaking all these words to all Israel, 46 he said to them, “Take to heart all the words by which I am warning you today, that you may command them to your children, that they may be careful to do all the words of this law. 47 For it is no empty word for you, but your very life, and by this word you shall live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess.”

Mark 10:42-45

42 And Jesus called them to him and said to them, “You know that those who are considered rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. 43 But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. 45 For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Thiere was a fair amount of politics in the indroduction, for it is the narrative of the very post modern intersectional operatives who run Labour throughout the English Commonwealth. In England, the working class have rejected them. Their project is failing them, and in this failure they are destroying everything. They would rather rule a dungheap than not rule.

But we have another way. That is to walk. Io build our own way forward. We can support our brother as he shuffles hom from field and factory. We can honour the mother raising her children and keeping her home.

We don’t need to keep their rules. They are destroying our society. In the USA, the dissidents are not able to fly and bank: the rulers forget that this means that alternative means of commerce will happen.

For this elite bunch of fools are damned and dying. Christ is calling us out of their lies and their false narratives.

For when we live in truth, we will have life, and there we will find Grace.
