One of the things that I have to watch is the messages that are being given to us. There are two parts of this: at times we are being asked to comply with things that we should not do: or else we will offend the new pagan gods of Diversity, or the old pagan Gods that are being resurrected so we do not worship anything that is not controlled by this world.

For this world hates us, and hates the spirit within us. It is only through the Holy Spirit that we are able to remain faithful, and reflect more the glory and righteousness of God.

Expect the mockery, hatred and persecution of those who are of Christ to increase while this dying elite cling to power, for they will rage as their time dies out.

COLLECT ONE
O God the King of glory,
who hast exalted thine only Son Jesus Christ
with great triumph unto thy kingdom in heaven;
We beseech thee, leave us not comfortless;
but send to us thine Holy Spirit to comfort us,
and exalt us unto the same place
whither our Saviour Christ is gone before,
who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end.

1 John 5:9-13
9 If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, for this is the testimony of God that he has borne concerning his Son. 10 Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son. 11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.

John 17:6-19
6 “I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. 7 Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you. 8 For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. 9 I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. 10 All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. 11 And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. 12 While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.

There are those who would depise truth, and do not like the idea of walking in the light. They are more comfortable with a grey postmodernism where all things are constructs, and that which is not a construct must be damned as against the idols of this age. Most people are encouraged just to get along. Bruce Charlton notes how this works — and he beleives there is a truth, which at times we cannot handle, and want to deny.

Pragmatic appeasement is a ‘managerial’ or bureaucratic mode of thinking that has spread into mass interpersonal discourse.
It accepts an evaluation of the ‘realities’ of the current situation as ‘the facts’; and then tries to behave pragmatically. This is the bread-and-butter reasoning of ‘sensible dissent’, which is the only permissible mainstream analysis and discussion of major policies.
At root, pragmatic appeasement is always is about managing people. It affects agnosticism about reality and real-causes; and focuses on attempting to make the best of things ‘given that ‘ people’s attitudes and behaviours are what they (apparently) are.

This is not the truth. It is a compromise with evil, a corruption of not merely truth but our very soul. Some things are clearly right, some things are clearly wrong, and if we know this we can repent from the wrong we have done and see the true, the good and the beautiful.

This scares the pants of the world. And we are just getting started. The mask has come off the founders of the modern age, and their weaknesses, frailties, and illogic are clear. We have modeled our moral structure on people as weak as D. H. Lawrence.

Any society that bases its sexual mores on the cuckish fantasies of a sickly, sterile gamma male obsessed with a fat, stupid adulteress deserves its inevitable demise. It’s not an accident that Paul Johnson’s Intellectuals is such a repetitive recounting of one disastrous human failure after another.

The world now rules by power alone. But that will not last. It never does. Do not be part of this elite, and instead bend the knee to Christ, who this elite hates.
