There are a couple of quotes that I’ve mentally bookmarked. One is a harsh truth, not all will be saved. Universalism is a heresy. There are those who have aligned with evil and converged with Satan, and the will be left to that desire.

As a neophyte Christian, it is hard for my puny mind to comprehend the severity of being condemned to hell for eternity. Surely those people don’t deserve hell for all time, right? But God is All-Merciful and All-Just, or else He wouldn’t be God, so it is impossible for him to merit out a punishment that is not deserved.
If on earth you choose to live according to Satan, if you accept and act upon his every evil impulse that he puts into your mind, you have made a choice, through an entire lifespan, that you are in allegiance to Satan. Therefore, when you die, God sends you to live with him, the demon that was your lifelong god. You wished for Satan in all that you did in your earthly life, you wrecked other people’s lives as well as your own, and desensitized yourself to the suffering and misery caused by your own hand, so God will give you more of that by placing you in hell. You will then be able to live with Satan and feel more of the suffering which you mired yourself in on earth because of your rejection of God. There is not a single creature that does not deserve the judgment that God gives them.

But you are quoting Roosh reviewing a book of a monk that fell. True. You get truth where you can. I held onto it, because one of the imprecatory prophecies is here. God turned his hand against earthly Jerusalem because the people assumed they had inherited salvation and turned to evil.

All scripture is profitable for us, particularly the bits that say do not go this way. Here lies disaster

Jeremiah 21:11-14

11 “Say to Judah’s royal family: ‘Hear the word of the Lord. 12 Family of David, this is what the Lord says:

You must judge people fairly every morning.
Save the person who has been robbed
from the power of his attacker.
If you don’t, I will become very angry.
My anger will be like a fire that no one can put out,
because you have done evil things.

13 “‘Jerusalem, I am against you,
you who live on top of the mountain
over this valley, says the Lord.
You say, “No one can attack us
or come into our strong city.”
14 But I will give you the punishment you deserve, says the Lord.
I will start a fire in your forests
that will burn up everything around you!’”

Revelation 21:22 — 22:5

22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the city’s temple. 23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God is its light, and the Lamb is the city’s lamp. 24 By its light the people of the world will walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. 25 The city’s gates will never be shut on any day, because there is no night there. 26 The glory and the honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing unclean and no one who does shameful things or tells lies will ever go into it. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life will enter the city.

22 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life. It was shining like crystal and was flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the street of the city. The tree of life was on each side of the river. It produces fruit twelve times a year, once each month. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of all the nations. 3 Nothing that God judges guilty will be in that city. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and God’s servants will worship him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be written on their foreheads. 5 There will never be night again. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will give them light. And they will rule as kings forever and ever.

There will be no one who has to lie there. Our sins will have been exposed, and covered by the blood of the lamb.

No preening virtue displaying hypocirtes will be there.

And the nations will be worshipping God.

The New Jerusalem will not be the Jerusalem of the Kings of Israel, or that where CHrist circufided, or the divided city of modern times.

It will be pure. And we will be healed.
