It is not very often that I find in my perambulations around this corner of the internet a commentary that fits directly with our text for the day. But in this day, liberals are stupid, and they assume everyone else is as gullible as them. So when Mundabor hits me with the sermon on the feeding of 5000 and frank heresy, well, it gives a good introduction. I will leave to fisking to our brother.
It is well known that the Evil Clown does not believe in the miracle of the bread and fish. This is not surprising at all, then it is fairly obvious that this man does not believe in God in the first place.
Once you have decided that the Divinity of Christ is a fraud, you have to find some more or less plausible excuse for all that stuff you find in the Gospel; you know, all that stuff that says that Jesus is God.
Francis loves to give a Socialist interpretation to everything (everyone must have a religion, you know…), and he does it here, too. The “miracle” is in the “sharing “, he keeps saying. Therefore, the bread and fish was all already there and Christ did not actually multiply it at all. Rather, the present came out of their capitalistic, grasping attitude and showed that if the rich start sharing, there is a lot of everybody.
This means, of course, that the Apostles were stupid, as they did not have the faintest about all that accumulated bread Francis is so persuaded about. It makes Jesus Himself looked very gullible at the least; as if he were a middle class boy who lived a sheltered existence and has no clue about the greed of the wealthy. But hey, Francis knows best. Who are we to judge?
This year, though, Francis added a new element, associating the “multiplication” with, and I quote, a manifestation of “power and vanity”. Yes, dear reader: it would have been something denoting “power and vanity” if Christ had multiplied the bread and the fish. Two thousand years of Christianity have believed in a vain God. Thank Goodness we now have Francis, who, after improving the Our Father, also gives us a new and up to now unknown Christ.
This has gone beyond heresy to blasphemy. The feeding of 5000 was important: it reflected Elisah doing the same thing, and the people instantly saw that Christ was the messiah.
I’m pretty sure that this antichristian fool does not read a blog written by a reformed protestant layman, but perhaps he reads it more that Rorate. So for the low probability that he is drawn here because he hates his own Church, let us confirm this:
Francis, so called pope, you are in grievous error, and you need to repent.
For when the veil that keeps the nations from seeing the full glory of God is ripped away, you will be found wanting. So will we all, but you will not known to Christ, who, from your teaching, you despise.
6 Now the Lord of armies will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain;
A banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow,
And refined, aged wine.
7 And on this mountain He will destroy the covering which is over all peoples,
The veil which is stretched over all nations.
8 He will swallow up death for all time,
And the Lord God will wipe tears away from all faces,
And He will remove the disgrace of His people from all the earth;
For the Lord has spoken.
9 And it will be said on that day,
“Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us.
This is the Lord for whom we have waited;
Let’s rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”
10 For the hand of the Lord will rest on this mountain,
And Moab will be trampled down in his place
As straw is trampled down in the water of a manure pile.
35 And when it was already late, His disciples came up to Him and said, “This place is secluded and it is already late; 36 send them away so that they may go into the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat.” 37 But He answered them, “You give them something to eat!” And they said to Him, “Shall we go and spend two hundred denarii on bread, and give it to them to eat?” 38 But He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go look!” And when they found out, they said, “Five, and two fish.” 39 And He ordered them all to recline by groups on the green grass. 40 They reclined in groups of hundreds and fifties. 41 And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up toward heaven, He blessed the food and broke the loaves and He gave them to the disciples again and again to set before them; and He divided the two fish among them all. 42 And they all ate and were satisfied; 43 and they picked up twelve full baskets of the broken pieces of bread, and of the fish. 44 There were five thousand men who ate the loaves.
What is the shame of the Jews? It is their tendency to argue, to be radical, to be activists, without understanding what they look at. This seems to be baked into them, as much as their high verbal IQs.
But generally I’m fairly cagey regarding the family I actually knew. So without being too specific, I’ll say that on my maternal grandmother’s side, I come from a long line of politically radical Ashkenazi Jews. Marxist-Leninist-atheist “revolutionaries” who were quite the hell-raisers during WWI and WWII…Jews fortunate to live in London and NYC during the 1930s because there was a courtesy suite reserved for them at Dachau.
But those relatives were unimportant to me growing up. I barely knew them; they were on the East Coast, whereas my mom and I were in L.A. And my mom, raised primarily by a Sephardic (Spanish Jewish) father, a tradesman (furniture maker) who saw politics as what a lazy man does to avoid an honest day’s work, reared me in a household devoid of ideology. So growing up, I was not in any way influenced by the radicalism in my family tree.
Yet by age 22, I’d become an internationally reviled politically radical Jew. Indeed, according to the ADL, I was the most radical (in a bad way) Jew alive.
How the fuck did that happen? I didn’t plan it. I wasn’t consciously following in anyone’s footsteps; I’d never been indoctrinated as a child. As I said, the radicals in the family were far-off ghosts to me. Was I fated, or perhaps a better word is prone, to this outcome? Was I as predestined for my lot as DeMarquis in Detroit is guaranteed to have three felonies by age 20?
The comment about DeMarquis is a comment about the rate of incarceration of black males, which brings up another issue: these people think collectively, as tribes. (She goes on to say that Black Politicians are the Jews’ useful idiots: please note that she’s a Jew).
We know that at the end of time, the Jews will repent, and start judging people by how they are known to God, and how their lives reflect God.
And not try to make all the nations one in their image. The merging is not going to go well.
Economic freedoms officially exist but have effectively been curtailed by lockdowns In the UK and Australia, we are not allowed to leave our country whenever we want. People have been arrested for anti-lockdown rallies in various countries. Our rulers permit approved riots while railroading enemies of the regime or those whose persecution reinforces regime narratives.
If, in 2000, the West was a dozen steps removed from 70s-style Soviet tyranny in 2021 it is three or four steps removed.
Giant companies and elites will continue to do as they please but for ordinary people, freedom is likely to continue slipping away for the same reason the Russians never had it: the majority are unwilling to resist.
In fact, unlike the potty-mouthed peasant women who cursed Khrushchev with all their might, we seem largely pleased with our house arrest. I guess those peasants didn’t have stimmy cheques, computer games and Netflix.
We were not called to Christ to be part of this managed hell. We were called so we would be at the final feast.
Where God will wipe every tear from our lives.
