There is a new term going around this part of the reactionary sphere: the peck. It explicitly refers to the COVID vaccine, and how people make their choice to accept it because they think that the government and health system and leaders are aligned with Good.
But they are not .
Francis Berger has a good post about the poor choices people have made because they fail to recognise the fundamentally evil nature of the global System, the tentacles of which spread into every area of life whether that be political, scientific, cultural, even religious. He mentions people who have willingly submitted to the peck, a thing supposedly originally intended for the most vulnerable and the elderly for whom the risks would be outweighed by the benefits, but which is now being pushed on everyone, including, incredibly, children who are effectively being asked to put themselves at risk for the sake of their elders. When a civilisation does that we can safely assume it has sunk to a new low. Of course, there are all sorts of excuses and justifications offered but the bottom line is that children are being experimented on and not for their own benefit.
The post drew from me the following comment which I also want to put here because I haven’t seen this idea expressed in quite these terms elsewhere but I believe it lies behind many people’s reluctance to go down this pecked path.
"The more I think about it the more I realise that the problem with the peck is not that it has all the adverse side effects it does nor that it is unnecessary for most people nor even that it might kill you. The main problem is that accepting it is an act of spiritual submission to the System. In the end all the other problems don’t matter.
There is no question in my mind that this world’s elite is aligned with evil. They reliably swim towards debasement. But we have had these times before.
And God brings correction. Hard. In the last year we have had multiple 100 year floods, primarily in Canterbury, where the elite bow to the Imam of the local mosque, while our government brings in "hate speech" laws. God is giving warnings.
Know this: no ruler can control the weather, or the crops, or if there is peace or war. That is in the hand of God.
And note that the prophets of God, who are faithful, are protected, as are those who support them, even though it appears that all is lost.
We are in for a time of trial and revival. And when it appears that we cannot go further, God will provide us a way forward.
17 Now Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord, the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall certainly be neither dew nor rain during these years, except by my word.” 2 Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 3 “Go away from here and turn eastward, and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, which is east of the Jordan. 4 And it shall be that you will drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to provide food for you there.” 5 So he went and did everything according to the word of the Lord, for he went and lived by the brook Cherith, which is east of the Jordan. 6 And the ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he would drink from the brook. 7 But it happened after a while that the brook dried up, because there was no rain in the land.
8 Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 9 “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and stay there; behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide food for you.” 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath, and when he came to the entrance of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks; and he called to her and said, “Please get me a little water in a cup, so that I may drink.” 11 As she was going to get it, he called to her and said, “Please bring me a piece of bread in your hand.” 12 But she said, “As the Lord your God lives, I have no food, only a handful of flour in the bowl and a little oil in the jar; and behold, I am gathering a few sticks so that I may go in and prepare it for me and my son, so that we may eat it and die.” 13 However, Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go, do as you have said. Just make me a little bread loaf from it first and bring it out to me, and afterward you may make one for yourself and for your son. 14 For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel says: ‘The bowl of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil become empty, until the day that the Lord provides rain on the face of the earth.’” 15 So she went and did everything in accordance with the word of Elijah, and she and he and her household ate for many days. 16 The bowl of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil become empty, in accordance with the word of the Lord which He spoke through Elijah.
5 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; 2 and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
3 But sexual immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among saints; 4 and there must be no filthiness or foolish talk, or vulgar joking, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this you know with certainty, that no sexually immoral or impure or greedy person, which amounts to an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
6 See that no one deceives you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not become partners with them; 8 for you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 as you try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. 11 Do not participate in the useless deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; 12 for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. 14 For this reason it says,
And arise from the dead,
And Christ will shine on you.”
The second text today shows how we should behave. This world loves immorality and corruption and debased speech and behaviour. We should do none of these things, nor should we ally with those who do. Heck, they support people to be idle when there is work. The policies of our elite are evil: they are designed to destroy our nations: their endgame is transnational, corporate, oppressive and Satanic, and they demand you join them, as Ahab demanded you joined in his ritual absement before the Ba’al, Asheroth and Molech.
We are, instead, to be pure. Note that this was written to the early church, who had no rulers but pagan ones: and who suffered repeated murderous persecution from Jews and Romans alike.
In this time, this will get us into trouble. This world demands its’ peck as surely as the Romans demanded a pinch of incense for the Genius Romanum.
We were not called, in any manner, to be aligned with this evil age. Yes, we have to be part of this world, and yes, our lives will be a witness.
But their pagan celebrations? Vote with your feet. Be elsewhere.
Their political and social programs? Put your energy into the things of God.
And pray that revival comes, as we become imitators of God.
