You cannot rely on the comforts of this world to sustain you in this time, even those which are good. You can rely on being tempted by the things of this world, which imitate that which is good, but are inversions, distortions, and are driven by our base passions. Because of lockdowns. Because there is anger. I’m also aware that our globalist ideology has left us now with a diaspora who cannot get back. To quote Nikolai:
Japan’s not looking good. The rest of Asia is locked up. I’m not keen on spending a fortune to get transported back to Botany Bay for the jab-o-nine-tails and seven years hard lockdowns.
I need a homeSoviet Men
We all need a home. Home making is a craft; an art — Edith Schaeffer wrote well of this in past generations. In this world we are to point to the kingdom of God in our life. To do this we cannot look at the things of this world but the things of Christ: because what we think is permanent and inevitable will soon be a footnote of history. Because the habits of our old self and the habits of this world trap us in evil, enslave us.
And it is Christ that there is unity. Not in this world.
3 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
5 Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 On account of these the wrath of God is coming. 7 In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. 8 But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. 11 Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all.Colossians 3:1-11
I believe things are turning. There are many people who have predicted revival, a restoration. I was unsure if I would see it, but I now see the vector. People hate being lied to. People are seeing the manipulation.
And the only way forward leads to the cross of Christ.
There are so many people who want to distract us, leave us trapped, or comfort us in our chains. They don’t want to set us free: there is no profit in that.
Theirs is a world of idolatry to their gods of science and bureaucracy. They worship at the feet of men and as such have nothing in common with their fellow man. Their souls are small. They strive not for excellence but merely for power for its own sake. And they most of all desire power over us, over we who did not completely fall for the lies; who when we realised the true nature of things then we pulled back and simply said, no, I will not do that.
I will not do that. That is the line in the sand. And once you come to that point, then you are really free. Because it doesn’t matter. None of it matters. They wanted to do as thou wilt, well now they have it. So go ahead. Do as you want. But I will not do that and I want nothing to do with those who would make me comply with tyranny. You can brush it up in any obscene makeup as you like, but the lipstick is still on a pig and I will have no part in it.
Like I said, something is going to happen. Something’s gotta’ give. It’s time.Adam Piggott
If we love each other, build our homes, and live for the kingdom we will find there is less and less room for the campaigns and propaganda and mass fear that this world pushes.
Instead there will be Christ, and he will heal us.
