In which I go to somewhere I have particular distaste for. The spirit of this age is evil, demonic. If we judge the policies by the consequences they have to the nation, the progressive project has been an abject failure. If we look at art, there is a yawning void of good stuff at the so-called high end. It is in those areas the critics sneer where beautiful things were made, but now even the crafts are invaded by the woke, who demand we make what they want, and respect the ugly.

And this leads to disgust.

I find it intriguing how so many non-Christians, from Miles Mathis and Stefan Molyneux to Steve Keen and Camille Paglia, all react so similarly to the various aspects of Promethean pharisatanry despite their various and very different areas of expertise and knowledge. Whether they happen to be primarily in tune with the Good, the Beautiful, or the True, they are all offended on a deeply visceral level by the intentional violations of what they perceive to be correct and worthwhile.

Their understanding of the entire situation is intrinsically limited by their materialistic perspectives, but their perceptions are valid, their instincts are correct, and their revulsion is both real and entirely justified. This may help us understand how Christians not only admired the noble and virtuous pagans of the past, but went out of their way to protect and preserve their work. It is evidence of how God speaks to people in the darkness, and how He offers them many different pathways to lead them out of it and into the Light of the Truth that is Jesus Christ.

And, of course, it’s also fascinating to observe, over time, how integral core Christian theology and the Bible are required in order to make sense of the entire picture at hand. The more I read of anything from Renaissance history to Roman stoicism to modern esotericism, the more it becomes clear that the rampant evil that presently rules the world and is at war with everything Good, Beautiful, and True is the same ancient and seductive one that first convinced the exiles of Egypt to worship the idol of the golden calf, the same entity that Jesus Christ called the prince of this world, and whose blandishments he rejected in the desert.

Vox Day.

Some observations that confirm this.

  1. We find modern movies unwatchable. When we find a drama that is beautiful and true, and look up the cast, we find it was made 20, 30, 50 years ago. I’ve realized that the current structure for movies does not allow these movies to be made.
  2. The last truly funny UK comedians are the age of my wife, and she’s not that much younger than I am.
  3. The move to maori science, where the pagan legends reconstructed, at times out of whole cloth, is meaning that people who do ordinary research are unfunded, while the pagans get promotions and funding. As a consequence, the scientific establishment and the medical establishment have accepted the lies promoted as quickly as the soviets accepted Lysenko, or the diagnosis of simple schizophrenia (which was applied to all dissenters, particularly the Christians).

If this involved merely the corruption of art and science, I could ghost. But it does not. The current policies actively damage children in multiple ways, that will end up as medical, societal, and scientific scandals. We have many people who are converged with the demonic.

The sad thing is that the father of the child affected, all to often, cannot seek help, for fear of the family courts.

14 When they came to the crowd, a man came up to Jesus, falling on his knees before Him and saying, 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, because he has seizures and suffers terribly; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16 And I brought him to Your disciples, and they could not cure him.” 17 And Jesus answered and said, “You unbelieving and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him here to Me.” 18 And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon came out of him, and the boy was healed at once.

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” 20 And He said to them, “Because of your meager faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”

Matthew 17:14-20

It is passages like this that bear witness to Christ’s divinity. He could not think that things are impossible to do. To him they were not, and he had put off the power that comes with being divine, he had emptied himself, and become human.

One of the truths in this life is that the demonic cannot withstand the name of Christ spoken in worship. It is part of our folk culture: as the vampire cannot enter a church, nor can that which is converged deal with Christ. Which is another reason for the woke hate anything to do with Christendom, and the government has kept us in lockdown. They do not want us healthy. They want us afraid, obeying their evil agenda, and damned.

I note the Satanist jargon, particularly when speaking of reevaluating fears and perceptions, rather than, for example, speaking about the truth of the matter, is indistinguishable from modern Woketopian Political Correctness jargon.

Both are nihilistic, that is, concerned with perception over reality, and both are fallacious, that is, taking for granted that all opposition to the party line is and must be based on illegitimate motives, as fear or hypocrisy meant only to shame and harass. The idea of a woman who desires not to see small babies killed is airbrushed out of thought and speech.

Of themselves, even the Luciferians attribute only the noblest motives, as a desire for freedom; in this case, freedom from reason and right reason. Logical fallacies offer escape from the intolerable prison of truth and sanity to enlightened and benighted alike.

Without ad hominem, there is nothing the self-anointed enlightened who call themselves Woke can say, nor, so it happens, the the self-anointed benighted who bow to devils.

Real literary critics apparently grasp nothing about figures, similes, metaphors, or anything which might allow a writer, by poetic license, to use abortion as a modern symbol for ancient child-sacrifice. Nor grasp when it is not a symbol at all, but actually is literally accurate.

Of course child sacrifice is an has been part of pagan worship wherever Moloch rears his ghastly altars, nor are the sacred trees of Norse gods free from human blood, nor the pyramids of Mexico. And if the legends of Saturn hold an echo of older practice, even in the shadow of Olympus, dark and sanguinary deed were done in the name of chthonic gods.

So the protests of a modern neopagan and occultist concerning the purity and enlightenment of his ancestral practices displays a naivety difficult to believe.

In any case, were their any doubt, an official spokesdevil for Uncle Screwtape, speaking on behalf of the Lowerarchy has clarified any ambiguity:

In the column above, the spokesdevil for the satanists is asking, nay, demanding that their Abortion Rituals (his words, not mine) be free under the First Amendment to continue slaughtering and shedding innocent blood to the glory of Lucifer.

John C Wright.

Talking to friends, the space that allows us to talk with people about beauty and truth and be neighbours is being invaded by the new pagans. Our version are Maori, who deny the rituals of conquest that their ancestors had: well documented by missionaries and early converts to Christ, well before sovereignty was ceded to the crown and the Nation became part of the British Empire.

Our current government promotes this, as they promote abortion and euthanasia. The consequences of this to the young are now apparent, and they are anything but good. Saying this, however, will now get you sacked.

If you ask the Tripwire “whole team” whether they were tolerant and inclusive and diverse, they would say “of course we are”. So, just keep in mind when people say these words, they don’t really mean it. They mean “agree with me, or I’ll fire you so that you can’t earn a living, and you starve and your family starves” in a fashion reminiscent of Josef Stalin.

Wintry Knight.

We desperately need to pray for more faith. The elite of this age say that they are more immovable than mountains. They are totally against God. They despise Christ. Their tolerance is as fake as their economic statistics. (Or health statistics. Or voting numbers).

God will not be mocked, and he will bring them true justice. This is trustworthy and reliable: our rulers are not.

My prayer is that God will have mercy, bring to the people revival, and to the elite repentance.

A bit of advice that clears the air is to sing worship songs prior to prayer – particularly serious prayer. At least three. It doesn’t matter whether they’re as simple as “Jesus Loves Me” or familiar as “Amazing Grace”. Just sing. Worship.

Came across this long ago in a devotional. Recommend, for reasons stated above.
