The choice we face now is becoming clear. We either align ourselves with this world, and the world promises all will be well. The world lies. Or we seek the truth, and say it,

That will get you into trouble. Not many people will lear — and of the fitth who do herar, about three quarters will be offended, or want to argue. The trouble is that one in 20 (perhaps more, but a good rule of thumb) will listen to the word spoken and repent.

This is not new.

And yet, will we ever come to an end of discussion and talk if we think we must always reply to replies? For replies come from those who either cannot understand what is said to them, or are so stubborn and contentious that they refuse to give in even if they do understand. In fact, as the Bible says, ‘Their conversation is unrighteousness and they are indefatigable in folly.’

You can see how infinitely laborious and fruitless it would be to try to refute every objection they offer, when they have resolved never to think before they speak provided that somehow or other they contradict our arguments.

City of God, Augustine of Hippo

Vox Day, who quoted that, notes that this is why the new Vox Popoli does not allow comments. They are on social galactic. I read a thread with Kea today, about a young wife who won’t go to medical school because she sees her vocation as a mother, and it was refershing because of the lack of virtue signalling and general sense of goodwill and good wishes to the oung couple.

Calvin noted that knowledge will not save us from sin. Now will seeing the patterns haead give you peace.

But in this time, we need to show the love o God and the truth of God harder and stronger.

Daniel 7:15-18

15 “As for me, Daniel, my spirit within me was anxious, and the visions of my head alarmed me. 16 I approached one of those who stood there and asked him the truth concerning all this. So he told me and made known to me the interpretation of the things. 17 ‘These four great beasts are four kings who shall arise out of the earth. 18 But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom for ever, for ever and ever.’

John 3:31-36

31 He who comes from above is above all. He who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks in an earthly way. He who comes from heaven is above all. 32 He bears witness to what he has seen and heard, yet no one receives his testimony. 33 Whoever receives his testimony sets his seal to this, that God is true. 34 For he whom God has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit without measure. 35 The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. 36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

There are great promises to those who ignore the world and seek Christ. Those we discuss often, as we ought.

But there is a warning here. If we do not turn to CHrist, we will bof the world, we shall think like the world, and we will find wihen we give an account that God is angry.

The elite want this. I do not want this for any person in my family, or any friends, or anyone I interact us. We must not converge with the rulers of this world, for they are evil. We must not be like them. We must instead be like Christ, and here… we fail. It is God himself who sustains us. We cannot do it alone.
